MusiX is based at the XCentre in Exeter, which is a lot of x’s! The MusiX project is about giving musicians free access to:

- sagely words and tips from established artists, from writing advice to guitar lessons

- a recording studio where they can cut a demo, and learn how to use the kit

- gigs to hone their performance skills, from open jam nights to ticketed performances

We ask established musicians to support us through sharing their experiences in the business with our unknown artists,  performing at our gigs and offering tuition, advice, tips and all round musical goodness. In return they can use our kit for free, draw creative juices from the project and get a warm glow of saintliness in their hearts.

We raise money to make the project possible through the gigs and shows, corporate sponsorship, fundraising and selling our souls at the crossroads…

Musicians looking for some guidance, a way in to gigging or access to equipment can come along, and get advice, tuition, performances, recording and collaboration, as well as sharing their ideas and tunes..
