Conferences
The XCentre has two facilities for conferences, training and other meetings, full details of which an can be downloaded HERE (772k PDF).
Upstairs is the 70sq mtr conference room, with a kitchen area for refreshments. It can be laid out for tabled seating for up to 24 people, or in theatre style for up to 50. Bookings include access to a TV, DVD, Digital Projector, Wireless Internet, tea and coffee as required, all at no extra charge.
The conference room is a very flexible environment. It has been variously used to host plays, music and art exhibitions, as well as meetings, training and publicity events. See the gallery below for more views of both rooms.
We will always do our best to accomodate your event, and will arrange the room to your specifications if we are given 48 hours notice.
Downstairs is the 50sq mtr life-skills area, which has a full kitchen, IT suite and soft seating. It can accommodate up to 20 seated and 40 standing.
The Life skills Area is useful for smaller meetings, or where you require internet access for several people at once. There are five pc’s available for an extra charge, with MS Office and internet access. Alternatively, you can have the suite equipped with iMac’s, with CS4, Office for Mac and iLife 09.
There is also a kitchen for refreshments or training for caterers and similar businesses. The life skills area can be made suitable for dining or buffets and is often used as a break-out space for Conference meetings, and in combination with the kitchen to enable self-catering.
Technical support is on hand with all bookings for both our ICT and any laptops or projectors you bring.
We offer negotiated discounts to organisations or groups in the support sector, but our basic prices are:
